Some Words! Updates on things! I’m so tired!
We’ll be taking the rest of April off from posting new episodes of The Handy Ma’am Hotline, and we’ll be back next month. Mercury may post a few videos here and there, but we’re planning to take it easy!
We’re mostly caught up on sending our orders from the shop, but we will still have extended processing times through the rest of the month and expect to return to normal in May. We’ll be running a small scratch-and-dent sale on some lightly damaged books soon, so stay tuned if you’ve been wanting to grab a book but are on a budget.
If you’re in the Des Moines area, Mercury has an event with Capital City Pride as part of their speaker series. You can find all the information on the event announcement post:
Event Announcement: Des Moines, IA
Mercury (and Basil) will be traveling to Des Mines, IA to give a speech and sign some books! Be sure to clear out some room on your phone for candid photos while you chat with Mercury - Basil usually snaps a bunch!

Mercury had a chance to speak at Madison’s City Hall here in WI as they recognized Trans Day of Visibility. Here’s what she had to say:
“Huge news! Madison, WI just declared a proclamation recognizing Trans Day of Visibility! I'm beyond honored to have accepted this proclamation alongside my friend Dina Martinez, Madison's first openly Transgender Alder person. As a born-and-raised Wisconsinite, this moment truly embodies our state's motto: FORWARD.
But here's the best part: we've already raised $279k for the Gender Affirming Care Access Fund! This fund will help thousands of Trans individuals access the care they deserve. Let's keep the momentum going! If you're able, please consider donating to support this incredible cause. Every dollar counts, and together, we can make a real difference in the lives of Trans individuals.🏳️⚧️”
