Introduction
Welcome to Mercury Stardust Media Substack! We’re so grateful for each and every one of you who subscribe here on Substack, this newsletter and media hub makes us so proud to see it growing! This Welcome post will cover everything you might want to know about what kind of content to expect, where to find everything, and frequently asked questions. Scroll through to find direct links to every account Mercury has across the internet, our posting schedule, best ways to support our work, and recommendations for things like tools and books.
Before we get too far, I’m going to take a moment to introduce myself - I’m Basil Forest (they/he) and I’m the writer behind every substack post! I work very closely with Mercury and my job is mostly to help keep her on track to meet the goals that she has set. Making information more easily accessible is a passion of mine, and that’s why we started this Substack!
Home Page and Sections
Let’s go over all the sections of our Substack and what kind of content you can find on each tab.
*** On the Webpage ***
Landing Page
The landing page is the home page of our substack. In addition to this pinned Welcome post, you’ll also find the two most recent posts on the left side and a list of popular posts on the right side. Below that you can find more posts and a couple of recommended substacks to follow.
At the very top of the page, you’ll find the other tabs.
Notes
This tab contains all the short posts and restacks from both Mercury and Basil. This feed is more like a typical social media page.
Handy Ma’am Hotline Podcast
The Handy Ma’am Hotline tab contains all the posts and episodes of the Handy Ma’am Hotline Podcast! You can also find the podcast on your favorite podcast app.
Mercury shares information geared towards renters who need help fixing their homes, moving into their first apartments, and navigating the complexities of dealing with landlords. But a focus is not an exclusion and homeowners call in all the time!

Store and Links
Clicking on the All the Links! tab on the top of the page will take you to Mercury’s linktree with the most updated links to her website merch store and everything else she wants you to see! You can also find most of those links throughout this post.
Archive
The archive tab will show you our full collection of posts available on Substack. You can search keywords to find posts about particular topics. Give it a try by searching for “Toilet” or “Drywall”. I try to make sure everything is tagged and has completed descriptions when posting, so you should be able to find things pretty easily!
